Alannah Andrews has been a devoted podiatrist since her graduation in 1989. With a career spanning over three decades, her dedication to understanding the complexities of foot health, especially in relation to neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease and Diabetes is a personal area of interest. These specialties are not just professional choices but are inspired by personal experiences with family members, that drive her commitment to making meaningful impacts on her patients’ lives.

Following her podiatry degree, Alannah expanded her expertise through further education in gerontology and business management. Her belief in continuous learning and improvement has always guided her approach to healthcare. Beyond her clinical endeavors, Alannah has played a significant role in educating future professionals as a lecturer and clinical supervisor at Charles Sturt University in Albury, sharing her knowledge and passion for podiatry with students.

Alannah’s contributions extend beyond traditional podiatry. She has been involved in research and the development of innovative solutions both in Australia and the United Kingdom. The most recent of which being the ‘Walking Tall’ app which was developed by the University of NSW and assists those living with Parkinson’s in enhancing their mobility. Her involvement in such projects underscores her commitment to advancing patient care through technology and research.

At the clinic, Alannah is known for her patient-centered approach. She believes in listening carefully to each patient, understanding their unique challenges, and providing tailored care. Her work, whether it be presenting at conferences or collaborating on international research projects, is driven by a singular goal: to improve her patients’ quality of life.
